This week we will discuss change management, models of change, organizational change, and change initiatives. Change management focuses on the role of change within organizations. There are five models of change management that can be used in the implementation and analysis of change. Organizations need to create a sense of urgency that a change is needed. Change initiatives require the development of a coalition that will be needed to champion the change. The leadership vision needs to become a part of the change initiative so that it can be used to develop the change implementation. Students will be able to explain change management and its relevance to their own organizations
